That Hair

Jack,

I always think about your hair. I have locks of it at home which I stroke every so often, its still so soft and silky. I even put it in pig tails once for fun, you and Daddy didn't like that(wish I had snapped a picture of it like that). I gave a lock to your girlfriend nurse Heather and to Your Aunts- Codie's sisters and Codie's Mum your Nana. I was always so perplexed that you could be so sick and yet have such healthy beautiful hair that never stopped growing. I even gave you a haircut before you went to the hospital. You had famous hair. Docs and nurses came to see you just to get a look at your hair. One Doc came over and bent over you, I had a worried look on my face and he said "Oh I'm not working on his case. I don't even work in this unit but I heard about this babies hair and just had to see it for myself." I had your baby baby blanket on your head and he said "could you unveil it?" I did and he just looked astounded and said "Oh my God that's incredible" The nurses loved to play with it all day long and loved how it stood straight up on end. You looked like a cupie troll doll. My very special baby, I miss you, love you, thinking of you.
